Latest News & Community Involvement Projects

Our firm is family owned and operated. We live and work right here in the Alpharetta and greater Atlanta metropolitan area. Our family and our staff care deeply about the community and find many ways to give back. We frequently participate in local charitable activities, parades and other locally sponsored events. Pete’s Plumbing is not just another business operating in the city of Alpharetta. We are part of the community and active in the Taste of Alpharetta, Milton Tour of Homes, the Alpharetta United Methodist Church, local Charity Golf Tournaments and the Old Soldiers Parade held each year in downtown Alpharetta. Our family has lived and worked in Alpharetta for more than 50 years. We love our city and plan to work hard to give back and to provide support where we can.

Take a look at some of the recent events that we have participated in. We don’t post everything project that we work on, but have provided a few great examples of the community activities that we truly enjoy being a part of. Pete’s Plumbing is always looking to support our community so if you are involved in charitable projects related to our community and think we might be a great fit, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.

“Epic” Sponsor in 2017 Milton Tour of Homes

Pete’s Plumbing was extremely proud to be a sponsor of this years 2nd Annual Milton Tour of Homes, Harvest of Homes.  Sponsorships this year benefited a very worthwhile cause, the Friends of Milton Library. This year, the homes on the 2nd Annual Milton Tour of Homes, featured beautiful autumn decor and was spread over two days, Saturday and Sunday, October 21st & 22nd.  With countless unique homes in the City of Milton, this year’s tour offered the opportunity to visit some of the most exceptional private properties.  Our very own Holly & Joan, had a lot of fun and enjoyed the tour so much. It was a beautiful day and Pete’s Plumbing was honored to be involved in this worthwhile endeavor.

Participates in Old Soldiers Day Parade

The City of Alpharetta and American Legion Post 201 hosted the Annual Old Soldiers Day Parade, Saturday, August 1st. The parade honors our country’s war veterans and recognizes their service to our country. A Memorial Service began on Main Street in front of City Hall at 9:15 a.m., with the parade starting at 10:30 a.m., ending at the American Legion Post 201 on Wills Road.  The Old Soldiers Day Parade originally started years ago as a tribute to veterans of the war between the states, but was discontinued after a few years. Twenty-eight years later, in 1952, a small group of men in Alpharetta re-dedicated Old Soldiers Day Parade in Alpharetta and started having a parade through downtown Alpharetta. Thanks to these few men and their desire to keep this memorable tradition alive, the parade has become an annual celebration to veterans of all wars. We were very proud to take part in this annual event again this year and enjoyed providing candy and “Pete’s Plumbing Fans” to help those enjoying the parade stay cool in the hot weather.

Sponsors Local Charity Golf Tournament

Pete’s Plumbing is a second generation, family owned and operated plumbing firm. We have been proudly serving the Atlanta metropolitan area for more than 50 years. Our main offices are located in Alpharetta, Georgia. One of our cornerstone principles is to remain connected and directly involved with and to give back to the communities we serve. To that end, we recently joined in with other corporate entities to sponsor the golf tournament for the 2013 Mary McLain Smith Theatre Arts Golf Cup. The tournament was help to benefit the “Georgia Ensemble Theatre” in Roswell, Georgia. This year’s tournament took place at Woodmont Golf Club in Canton, Georgia.
