Water Heaters, Compression Tanks, Sinks, Drains, Faucets, Showers, Shower Heads, Garden Tubs, Disposals, Toilets, Water Pipes

Pete’s Plumbing Incorporated offers a wide variety of products and services. We carry all major brands of plumbing fixtures, including brands such as; American Standard, A.O. Smith, Bradford White, Delta, Moen, Price Pfister, General Electric, Noritz, Rheem, Rinnai, Whirlpool and more. Fixtures are available for both residential and commercial applications. The most commonly replaced plumbing fixtures in the Alpharetta and greater Atlanta area tend to be kitchen faucets, garbage disposals, toilets and water heaters.

If you’re the owner of a commercial building or a rental property, you probably already know that you’ve got it a lot tougher than the average homeowner when it comes to making decisions about upgrading plumbing. If you want to take advantage of the ecological and financial benefits that low-flush toilets, low-flow shower heads, and automatic shutoff faucets could bring to your home, it’s relatively simple to take care of. But, when you consider doing the same for an apartment complex with 50 or more living spaces or a commercial building with numerous public bathrooms, it’s a much bigger task that might make you wonder if it’s all worth it.

High-Efficiency Toilets

Investing in a new toilet will save you money everyday. High-efficiency toilets use 20% less than even low-flush toilets. Many local governments offer rebates when you retrofit your bathroom with high-efficiency or low-flush toilets. Take advantage of these rebates to protect our natural resources and reduce your monthly water bill.

Unsuspecting Water Bandits

Old toilets are the usual suspects when pointing the finger at high water usage, but we forget about old faucets. Older faucets have higher flow rates which increase our water usage without us even realizing it. In 1998, a new standard was created that required new bathroom faucets to use 2.2 gallons per minute at 60 psi. Replacing your old faucet would meet this requirement and reduce your overall water usage.

WATER HEATERS

Gas, Electric, On-Demand

Trying to figure out which model is right for your home?

If you’re like most people, you’ve probably got a devoted interest in water and energy conservation but only a vague understanding of the technologies that help achieve that aim. But, don’t worry, you’re not alone. Most of us understand what tankless water heaters are supposed to do, but not many know the difference between tankless water heaters and their hybrid cousins. Here’s a breakdown on the differences between the two.

Energy Savings: Hybrid vs. Tankless

Most people’s general understanding of the savings that hybrid technology can bring stands in stark contrast to the reality of these two alternative water heater options. Both offer significant energy savings over traditional water heaters, but hybrid water heaters edge out the tankless type to deliver the biggest overall savings – as much as 60 percent over traditional gas and electric water heaters. In comparison, tankless water heaters save you between 25 and 50 percent. That’s certainly nothing to sneeze at and is a contribution that, over time, can go far in decreasing your carbon footprint. But, when compared, hybrids offer greater energy savings.

Cost Considerations

If out of pocket cost is going to be the determining factor, your best option is to go with a hybrid water heater. Tankless water heaters can be extremely expensive and could take upwards of 10 to 20 years to pay off by way of monthly energy savings. Hybrid water heaters, on the other hand, are less expensive and deliver such dramatic savings that you’ll recoup your price of purchase within five years.
